Features and Benefits of Toshiba MRI's
Across the MR product line you will find a number of patient-focused features as well as unique imaging techniques.
Feature: Ultra short and wide magnet design
Benefit: At 1.4m, the Vantage magnet is the shortest, full FOV system on the market today. The Vantage and Atlas come with a 65.5cm patient aperture with a 60cm diameter body coil. Titan has 71cm aperture and a 69cm diameter body coil.
Feature: Non-contrast imaging
Benefit: The ability to do MRA studies without the use of contrast has become a necessary feature on the MR scanner. Toshiba pioneered these techniques over 10 years ago and we are now on our 4th generation of these sequences: Fresh Blood Imaging (FBI), Contrast free Improved Angiography (CIA), Time-Spatial SLIP and TSA.
Feature: High homogeneity
Benefit: 2ppm over a 50cm DSV. This level of homogeneity is the key to robust Fat Free imaging.
Feature: Radiance breast imaging
Benefit: Superior fat saturation is needed to perform high quality breast imaging. The high homogeneity of the Vantage magnet ensures that this is consistent.
Feature: Pianissimo
Benefit: Quiets the gradient noise using vacuum technology without limiting performance.
Feature: Atlas technology
Benefit: Integrated coil design for maximum workflow and flexibility.
Feature: Feet first imaging
Benefit: Atlas and Titan offer this option for extended table travel that allows much more flexibility in the exams that can be performed feet first. |
